Anybody want or need this old remote?

I ran across this the other night and hate to see it get tossed out. Does anyone have a want or need for it? I will send it to the first person that cares to save it...

Thor may be able to use it as a spare for his new HT set-up.

Hey Eric!

I'll put first dibs on it for Eric H if that's OK. I suspect he can use it if anyone here can.

Unfortunantly no, I don't have a Magnavox or any remote sets for that matter.

However if no one else claims it I would take it to keep it from being tossed.

Good one lefty! I just don't think this one has enough buttons for Thor!

Eric, if no one else has a need for it I will be happy to send it to you. I will give it a day or two to see if there are any takers.

I had a chance to carry off the entire Magnavox console TV, phone and AM/FM unit last night. The darn thing was jut too heavy to load and unload. Not to mention the look the wife would have given me for dragging that thing in. I hated to see that nice chunk of wood go to waste. At least I salvaged the remote...

kc8adu,

The combo this came off of was about 6 feet wide with a phono on the top left, TV in the middle (of course) and an AM/FM tuner on the top right. I thought it was interesting that the UHF/VHF tuner was also built into the tuner control plate. It was a nice looking setup. I wish I could have saved it from it's fate. If you think you can get some use from this remote, Pm me with your address and I'll get it on it's way to you.

Great! I am glad that it got saved from being gone forever. Now if I could only find someone who wants my old Koronette console, I will really be happy. The wife will be pretty happy too when that things gets moved out of the garage!
