RCA made a TV w/out CRT in '56?

Good for another laugh...

1956 RCA with 1949 cabinet, and since she says this is a complete TV, this must be that rare version that did not use a picture tube

And if that didn't do it for you, here's another guy who is selling an RCA, and in the eBay item title, he says this one HAS a picture tube!!!!!! WOW!

I found a similar set that actually HAS a CRT, and it's good.

Talking

It looks as though someone has snapped the neck off the CRT and blown all the phosphor off the faceplate.

Otherwise you'd see all the components.

A day late and a dollar short, but I had to say it....

The TV's sans CRT's were made for the visually impared, in a rare demonstration of industry proactivity long before the Americans with Disabilities Act was promulgated.
