Dave you are a lucky guy.

I bought two Transvision cabinets a day apart about a month ago. A 7" from California and a 10" from New Jersey. I was looking for a chassis for the 7" cabinet when Harry Poster listed his 10" cabinet on his TV for sale site.

Hi Richard

You bought that 7" Transvision from me on ebay! I hope you find the chassis for that set! Very prewar like and definitely not common. Definitely keep on eye out on Harry posters site for the chassis.

Definitely looks to be a well made homemade set! The 10" and 7" sets are more scarce and looks like the 12" sets shows up more often. Here is a photo of my homemade Telekit model #10 console tv, I bought this off the original owner who assembled it in 1950, he was a engineer for KTLA in Los angeles, and he made the cabinet himself....very well made and with a awesome streamline style! He painted it gray to match the wall color of his house at the time.
