I found this set locally, and decided it was so rare, that I'd list it on ebay, so collectors could decide if they needed one, and what they'd like to pay. DuMont made a lot of different sets, and I've actually seen more of the giant Westminster's with the mechanical picture tube, than this model!

The Club is the Clifton's baby brother. It uses the same chassis and knobs, but DuMont put this into a large wooden cabinet, which faces downward, and the front opens up for repairs--it doesn't even have a removeable back.

The set really is rare. I've seen 2 others in the last 15-20 years and there are lots of interesting sets in this area (within a couple of miles of the old DuMont production plants), but the Club is impossible to find.

I haven't seen it shown in any of the Museum displays, and if anyone here has the space, it's actually a cheap example of an unusual DuMont from about 1947.
