Butchered Pre-War on eBay

Look at this! someone put a SS tv inside a prewar cabinet

The knobs are present so I am wondering if this is a recent swap?

And this guy wants way too much for it. A complete HMV 904 (except it was missing two controls and knobs) with a nice cabinet sold at auction yesterday for 800 Pounds.

thats really sad. And even worse that someone took the time to destroy it like that.

Wouldnt it be great if all our old tvs looked like that on the inside?
