Early color yoke?
I got this with the TV stuff in Charlotte. RCA part number on the box says 79605. Deflecting yoke 71 degres. Horizontal coil: inductance 11.8MH, D.C. RES 6.6 ohms. Vertical Coil: Inductance 128MH, D.C. RES 58 ohms. What RCA set does it go to?

There was an Ebay auction for a couple of yokes NIB for the 21ct55. I could swear they looked like yours, but now I cant find the auction.

2 Yokes..21CT55
I got those two yokes about 15 years ago, when CT-100's and 21CT55's were 'everywhere'. (Somewhere I've got a shot of my storage garage with 4 TRK-12's and 2 CT-100s for sale!!)
One of the yokes were marked 1107505-501 274503, and the other had a similar number. I was told at the time, that they were for 21CT55 televisions. Hopefully they went to someone who will put them to good use! |

Hmmm... I guess they are completely different. Did you ever figure out what yours goes to?

Blue Lateral,
I did not and that is why I bumped. John Folsom was going to look at them and make a judgement. polaraman |

Rich,
It kinda looks like a CTC-4 yoke....? The number on my CTc-4 yoke assembly is 1106249-1. Of course, the part number on the RCA box never shows up on the actual part (curse you, RCA). My 21CT55 yoke has a similar copper back cover plate, but like the yokes shown above (from the Harry Poster ebay auction), it has 3 aluminum standoffs, which support a flat doughnut for ferrous material about 1/4" think and 1" wide. My CTC-4 yoke, like the one Rich shows, has a copper back cover with a thin flexible metal doughnut supported by 3 standoffs. The CTC-5 yoke does not have the extra piece mounted on 3 standoffs on the back cover. So to make a long story short, I think that is a CTC-4 yoke.

I have seen very few bad yokes on 1940s B&W and early color sets. But it never hurts to have a spare!
