Nordmende Parsifal...
...Got me one of these this afternoon from an antiques boutique in Kingsport. From what I can find out, it is circa 1959-60. Haven't really fooled w/it yet, wanted to know if anybody else here had one. Usual postwar German set, glassy wood finish, several SW bands, AM, LW, & FM.

Two of these listed in the Sams index:
Parsifal - #625-10 Parsifal US #612-9 (both 1963) These are newer than what I have, so I can't help there. But if you can find it on the European site Radiomuseum.org, I can download a schematic for you. Is it this one? |

Yep. Looks like it. Mine's the European model, though- FM quits about 100 Mcs. SW works very faintly-AM band's dead as a hammer. FM works pretty good, though. Interestingly, its set up for 110 VAC...Some idiot put a bunch of self-adhesive stickers on it, & I'm fresh out of "Goo-Gone", so ain't gonna even try to get 'em off. Pretty clean inside, though. Guess it'll go to see Terry...<grin>
