One thing you can try, remove the plug for the convergence PCB, and do a resistance check from pin 6 on the convergence socket on the chassis to gnd, should be about 1 to 1.5 ohms.

All the other voltages are updated on the last previous page unless the page advanced to this page

Look like 1.8 ohms

Sams says that winding is 1.1 ohms, not sure if thats close enough or not, I don't remember if you have the original FBT in there or not.

You may want to do the same resistance test at pins 13-14 on the FBT, if its noticeably lower than the 1.8 you saw at the socket, it may be a sign of a lose solder connection.
At this point it would have done you good to have an oscilloscope, to see if you had the good signal at 300v at pin 6 on the convergence socket.

That would go a long way to sorting this out.

I probed the wrong wire it’s 1.1 ohms and it’s the original flyback.
I’ve tried to post a pic of what the screen looks like but can’t size the pic right to post it.
I measured the A19 coil wrong there is .9 ohms on both secondary sides and primary is good 2.6 ohms

There is r166 and r167 and c116 at the burst gate maybe those resistors could be stopping the flyback signal.

Here’s the voltages
V21. I probed the wrong side of v22 it does have voltage. I missed B section of v19 I’ll post the voltages
1 180.6
9 -44
6 352.3
3 123.7
7 180.2
2 123.3

"

Timmy, on V21 do pin 2 & 3 really have the same voltage on both pins....?
Can you investigate this ? Can you check resistance compare to Sams
on these pins? Possible short in the socket, or internal to the tube?

I'm not sure about R166, R167, & C116... Not sure what to do
with the flyback pulse at this point. I would be happier solving
the odd voltage stuff first & being somewhat sure those items
look like they are working.... If you guys want to pursue
the flyback pulse it's ok, I just don't know how your
going to test for it. But we could test for the tube
voltages with the tools Timmy has.....
Either thing could be just a tail
chase anyway....

I’ll check those pin voltages again does seem odd.

I just find it a bit odd that all the negative voltages related to that winding are not where the should be, V19 p9 , V4 p3, V21 p9 , there has to be a common cause, right?

Especially when there was that time when pins 13 -14 on the FBT were reversed.

Ok maybe I probed the wrong pin again, so v21 pin 2 129v pin 3 366v and resistance on those 2 pins 85k and 11k

Would v6 have anything to do with this color issue because I have a resistor on pin 8 2.7meg but it’s up to 3.9meg , Searching for any other bad resistors.

Doubtful.

What I still find odd, are the abnormal voltages you posted, and what may be the cause.

V21 pin 9 @ -44 , should be -130v
V4 pin 3 @ - 1.71v should be -10v
V19 pin 9 @ -40v should be -75v

The v4 pin 3 -1.71 was flashing
And the 2 resistors and the .01 from the coil on the flyback to the burst gate are good.

That “flashing” is most likely due to the DVM being disrupted by the horizontal pulses on that line, an analog meter would not do that.
