Would a bubble ruin this set?
I was told that this automatic had the bubble as an option. I have an original automatic bubble currently installed on a portable. I used photoshop to see how it would look on the console.
Anyone out there have a photo of the automatic console with the bubble installed at the factory?

Don't know - either way makes me want to watch Flash Gordon.

Altering it from original would lower the value of it in my opinion, wouldn't do the donor set any good either.

I love the look of Automatic consoles. If I had one (I should be so lucky) I wouldn't for one second consider altering it.

You must surely know how RARE an Automatic console is, either with or without the maginfier. I would not dream of modifying it.

I that a 7" set????? RARE if it is! I've only owned one 7" console, and I don't even remember what it was. (was in terrible shape, and I junked it in the 80s.)
I'd leave it 100% alone, unless you can install the bubble without any permanent alterations. Charles
