Lightbulb Anyone from Long Island NY going to ETF Convention

Is anyone from Long Island NY going to the ETF Convention? I have an offer to buy a 1947 Viewtone console television Cabinet with no chassis or tubes. Its located on Long Island in New York. I can drive over to NY but if someone going to Ohio is in Long Island I can save the 500 miles roundtrip on my car. If anyone is interested let me know.

Don't get me wrong, I know that it's very rare and still valuable empty, but I have to wonder about the circumstances. Given those sets', ahem, "unusual contours," I suspect the liquor cabinet appeal was very low and that most of them were in one piece when they were scrapped.

Why would they sell old TV's at an Exchange Traded Fund convention?

Actually the one you posted in is great shape. The seller said he found this one this last weekend. I hope it's not water damaged?

If you can figure out how to get it to northern NJ or Monmouth County I'll be happy to bring it out with me.

If I should end up in Long Island before May I might be able to pick it up for you, but I don't currently have any plans to be there.
