I was going to go for this one myself, but I e-mailed the guy and asked if he could hold it for a couple weeks until I had time to get to Chicago. I also said I would pay immediately.
He said he'd hold it, but would charge $5 a week to store it. I politely thanked him. There's no way I'm going to deal with somebody looking to nickle & dime me like that. His loss, 'cause i would have gone higher than his top bid.

1950s nuthin', that's from Zenith's entry into the TV market 1948. The sharply squared off cabinet and plastic weaved grill are the distinctive features of this model as seen in their very first magazine ads.
