I've got most of the Magnavox manuals and they have product line pages in the back with pictures. If you're wanting to know something specific about your set I can try to look it up if you'll post the model number, if it's missing from the back of the set, take the back off and look on the floor of the cabinet the model number is usually pasted there in addition to the one on the back. If I can locate your model number I should be able to get the radio chassis number. The chassis number is on a small sticker stuck somewhere on the radio chassis, it will be on a small tag and will begin with an R. Look for something that looks like R204 02

Model number/finish PD6806PE61, also serial number 10355949, amps 1.25, run #7... then when ordering parts show model # and run number , the magnavox company- fort wayne, ind. 46804

Ther is no manufacture date on it anywhere, is there a way to tell?

radio chassis 231 13 EA

left Speaker 70 1327 12
assembly 2522

right speaker is 70 1327 12
assembly 2592

Record player is
Ref 7324
model w821 / 14 / 01

8 track says
701643-1
no 06651759 made in japan KYD

its got 2 and 4 channel decoder, diagram of wiring on front that says, EL 2864-1, also the crossover for the speakers consists of 8uf 25 volt nichicon 270040-13 85 degrees celsius, and a ceramic long thing that says 15 ohm 2147403 2400 80-29, can i udate the crossover with new caps to get better performance, it just sounds like its lacking in the vocal area! If ya need more i can look for stuff!

Can anyone also recommend me a good cart for the tt, it looks brand new, unused but who knows, it looks stock, also it seems to lack in the vocal and bass area.... Also the tuner is way off, the local station 92.1 is up in the 96 range, is there a way to correctly align it easily?

Who made the TT. Magnavox bought TT's from them from the 50's thru the 70's. There are several threads about Collaro here.

They all said Magnavox...but were Collaro. One of my friends has a Collaro manual/auto TT that he bought from a Magnavox dealer in the late 70's, when Magnavox had a line of well made components. It has a massive aluminum platter and a well designed anti-skate, counterbalanced arm that came pre-loaded with a Shure M-91ED cartridge. I used to sit in amazement at it, for when it finished playing a record and shut off, the platter would continue to effortlessly spin for up to two minutes.

yeah mine spins for that long, its a manual/auto/ and on, switch back and forth form 33,45,78, very smooth running, it runs off the motor to a big rubber wheel that turns it, and that platter has some weigh to it, that console is easily 5-6 ft long too...
