Hi gang!
Do any of you have experience using a solid state 1L6 replacement in your Trans-Oceanics. Particularly Bill Turner's model. I've read where some of these solid state replacements require realigning the radio. Do you lose or gain short wave reception? Thanks! Funken |

Hi,
Until you realign the radio, you lose SW performance. The 1L6 was only used mainly in Zenith Trans-Oceanic radios and little else. They are really scarce and expensive. An alignment with the new substitute and you should do OK. |
