Found an 8 tube Zenith console + 2 more consoles today

I made the final trip over to the lady's house that I've been getting stuff from over the last couple of months. Her deceased husband was into old radios. I bought this 8 tube Zenith console for $120. There is some veneer damage to the top and two knobs are missing. The speaker is a newer PM 15". I have an idea this radio may work. I've always wanted a black dial Zenith console but could never afford one. Really, they don't show up that much around here.

The next one is a large 12 tube (including tuning eye) Silvertone console. It has veneer damage all over, some knobs and pushbuttons are missing, and the output tubes are missing. I'm guessing this one to have been made between '39 and '41. I know someone has been in it because there is a late model polarized AC cord on it. It was free; so, I can't complain too bad.

The last one is a Silvertone radio/phono/wire recorder. This will also need some cabinet work and the speaker is missing. There were three spools of wire included. It will be interesting to see what's on them.

I also got a huge floor standing metal cabinet full of misc. parts.

There was more stuff, including a huge HP audio oscillator, that I should have gotten last time. She had one of those estate sale companies come in and auction everything off and the only things left were what I got today. I've got no one to blame but myself for not getting that other stuff because she told me they were having an auction and that I needed to get what I wanted. I think the only reason the 2 free radios remained was because no one bid on them at the auction.

That 12-tube Silvertone looks like the R121 that I bought earlier this year. Yours appears to be in much better condition than mine. It looks like yours is missing the rotatable loop antenna and back cover though. It seems to be a 1941 model from what I have been able to gather.

The Zenith is a 1938 model 8S154. Well worth ressurecting. Primo examples can command $400+
