RCA consol type 51 jewel lamp.

I have a RCA Victor Model A-108 Superheterodyne. This has two turntables and a radio in a Mahogany consol. One the bottom front of the consol is a small jewel which from the schematic looks to be a light. One the schematic it is called a "Type 51 Jewel Lamp" I want to put a light into it as it was. It is missing both the housing and bulb which looks like it was cut off some time ago. Would anyone know the correct voltage to the bulb? I cannot tell from the schematic. I figured I could wire a light kit to the cut off wire and place into the slot behind the jewel.

Thanks for your help

How does the socket attach? Is there a metal tab to clip on to? I have a number of styles of these old sockets and bulbs, should be something that will work. Picture would help of course.

Thanks for the replies.
Sorry to say I don't have the socket either. The previous owner at one time cut the wire and disguarded the rest. The little red jewel is all that is in the small hole. I really have no idea what is would look like. I figured I could craft something that would resemble what it may look like.

Hi you could use a LED! May have to use a resistor to drop voltage down but the LED should last a very long time! My Zenith uses a clip to hold the lamp.Good luck Sprman55

Just to sum up here. I made a small holder and placed the bulb securely in the hole, wired it up and it works great. Thank you all for the advice. Now all I have to find is what logo went in front of the speaker grill.
