I bought this TV at a farm auction several years ago and have no idea if it works or not, but I wouldn't bet on it. Knobs missing. No back on it. Otherwise seems to be complete. Nothing obviously broken. Quite dirty inside.

Is this worth anything to anyone? Can they be made to operate at a reasonable price?

From the model number this should be a 7" Electrostatic set. Is it wood or Bakelite?

They are quite popular with collectors, if the picture tube is still good they can usually be put back into operation.

The parts cost is minimal if you can do the work yourself, usually this means replacing all the paper and electrolytic capacitors. Knobs and a back can be found but it might take a little time.

If it was stored in a barn or otherwise poorly you may need to pull the chassis to do a more complete assessment of the condition. Sometimes Mice have gotten in and they can really destroy things!

It is bakelite. I didn't see any chewing on wires, but you're right that it needs to be checked out. I may ask some of my ham radio buddies what they think about the prospects of repairing it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT plug it in without checking the electrolytic capacitors first. They could be shorted and could fry your rectifier tube and power transformer.
