Telefunken Opus 7

I just bought my second Telefunken opus 7 last week, both have the same chassis but different cabinets. I was very impressed with the sound of the first one I bought, after a retubing and recap so I had to get one for my garage/shop.
Anyone else have a Opus radio? What do you think?
Only thing my new one is missing is the white knobs (has dark ones). Anyone have extra set of white ones?

The only thing better in table top radios than an Opus 7 is two

I have a couple vintage West German sets and love em but haven't stepped it up to the Opus....yet.

i have an opus 6 that i love. it's a beautiful radio. everything works, but i'm sure the sound would improve immensely if i recapped the thing. i've fixed the tweeters, but that's all so far. my 6 is probably much like your 7, unless yours has the squared corners. mine's more rounded, with bass and treble adjustment wheels.

Yes the Opus 7 and the higher end German sets are great radios. The Opus 7 is very close to the Opus 6. I think the only difference is the Opus 7 has five extra buttons below the 7 that tailor the sound abit more. Also I belive the Opus 6 only has one woffer and the Opus 7 has 2.
I've recapped both of my Opus 7's, and a similar Siemens and I listen to them nightly

I have a very few spare german radio knobs. Can you give a picture of them. I might have a white knob set. Logan

I've got one along with the circuit diagram and OM. It was my grandfather's.
