Where to get fuse?
My GE Blonde Model 21C1549 has the M2 fuse blown, or broken, cause it looks like it broke when I moved it. That is the reason I have no raster and no B+. Where does one find these type fuses? It is a 4/10 amp 250v. It is Buss fuse part number N 4/10. It is not just a slip in the clip fuse. It looks like that but this fuse has tabs on one end and it is inserted into the fuse holder then twisted to lock in.

Looks just like a regular glass fuse, but it has tabs in the metal next to the glass to lock it in the fuse holder.

I needed a fuse like that for one of my projects. I think I ordered it from Moyers. They're a treasure trove of old TV parts.

There used to be a place called Radio Shack where you could buy fuses, switches, resistors, diodes, capacitors, tubes, of all types, you name it. What ever happened to that place? Thanks to Moyers for staying true to the trade!

Yep, that's all rat shack sells now, that and chineese crap. Get as many of those as you can, they're not that easy to come by anymore. I need a few myself. I hope Moyer's has them, let us know, I'll order some too.

RE: radio shack: I went in to the local "store" to buy a 12 volt mini bulb for a replica cathedral radio. I also needed a S-Video to RCA jack adapter. I found one on the shelf priced at $24.99. Needless to say, I asked how many bars of gold came with each adapter, and got the usual deer-in-the-headlights look. I paid the $1.58 for the bulb, and went home to make my own adapter.
BLEEP radio shack, at least most of the time. Kevin
