I was quite surprised that a fellow collector was just a few miles away from me. He is online, but never heard of AK or VK

Hey, that is the same model zenith as the one from my "radio from hell" thread. Once I got a loooong wire antenna wound around the inside of the cabinet, it was a great performer.
