Need Help Identifing This Crosley

I bought this Crosley for $40 yesterday, complete with remote. So far all I can come up with is that it is the El derado model. I cant find a model or chassis number or any other information. I'm thinking either 56 or 57 but thats just a guess. Anyone have any ideas?

Eventually, its not at the top of my list. It looks alittle complicated compared to what I've done so far. I'm going to set it in the family room and look at it until then. I just picked up a 48 admiral Triple Thrill that will be the next project.

That Crosley TV reminds me of my folks' second television. Theirs was a 1955 Crosley "Super V" 21" console in a blonde cabinet. VHF only, no remote. We had this set until 1965 or so, when my mother wanted a portable; my dad got her a Sears Silvertone 17" all-channel portable and we put the Crosley set in the basement where it stayed until 1972, then we got rid of it when we moved. Too bad we had to give up that set, since it had an excellent picture for its age; in fact, the only problem I can ever remember that set having was an open spot on the vertical hold control. Since the picture held vertically with the control set where it was supposed to be (at midrange), we didn't bother with replacing the pot. However, a quirk this set had that still sticks in my memory after all these years is that it would make a slight "squeak" sound when shut off. I wonder about that every once in a while. What could cause such a sound? The set worked perfectly otherwise. I'm thinking the squeak might have been a high-voltage discharge or a smaller capacitor discharging to the chassis or to ground just before turnoff.
