Identify TV

OK, OK, so it's not as iconic as the Gilligan's Island Packard Bell or as sought after as The Waltons' Zenith tombstone. Nevertheless, if I had the opportunity to buy this model TV I'd snap it up for the novelty factor--even if nobody else recognized it.

I *think* I know the brand but I want somebody who recognizes it to make a positive ID. I'm guessing it's from around 1959 or 1960.

David:

Zenith's 1960 line up had a set that looked just like that. I have their 1960 brochure but it only shows the remote version.

Definitely looks like a Zenith control line-up & knobs, but I'm going to go Bradford or Wards Airline on this one. I don't think that's actually a screen-wide control door below the screen; rather it's something in the camera photo or something wrong with the cabinet. Look how the angle shows the bottom curve of the picture tube disappearing below the mask.

Arnold Ziffel was cool. He had color TV.

Imagine what went thru the CBS execs minds when the creators of Green Acres told them that a pig would be a secondary charactor.

The horn, bracket, and, tone arm look like a Victor.
Case looks like a Victor 1.

The Douglas set is indeed a Zenith, confirmed by a sighting of the set's back. Next:

Yes, it's a 16" RCA Victor full-door console. Can anybody narrow it down to the model #?
