flyback numbers

hi all is there anyone here that can see if these numbers are for the same rca chassis, 630 or the fada clone. thordarson fly1, rca 71416, stancor a8117, chicago tfb-1. i guess what i mean is does all the other flyback numbers replace the 71416 rca and i think the fly1 is right its the other 2, stancor and chicago that i am not sure of. thanks

i finally located a new transformer but i still have the original problem and not finding anything else wrong in this chassis its got to be the fly, there is nothing else. if i take the hot cap wire off the tube dont glow red like it is now. and the ohms that the flyback is supposed to be dont match up to good, they are lower then what the sams shows. unless it is the transformer all along and ill find out but i dont think this will fix the problem.

Okay, Timmy, I'll give you some info:

RCA 71416 should cross to Merit HVO-3, Stancor A-8127, Thordarson FLY-1, Triad D-11. In my Stancor book I don't see any FADA as using either the A-8127 or the A-8117, though I'm not sure why they would have used something different. If I knew what model FADA I could dig deeper.

well its like this, i found nothing else wrong so this time its got to be a shorted fly and with the hot glowing red trying to trouble shoot then the transformer gave up from the load. and with this set im sure if i dont find the exact fly ill be able to sub something small from an old small screen b&w set.

if the screen voltage is high and its red plating good chance the byflack is shorted. that is a weird looking flyback on the schematic.
how is the crt in this set? is it worth your time and money?
i couldnt find a tv125 but a tv22 looks like what you

the crt tests great otherwise i would not have gone so far. i got the new stancor transformer but the colors are different then the old one so i just want to make double sure of each wire and the voltages but cant find any info on a wire color pin out. does anyone have such info, its a P-8152 stancor. i found a 1960-62 listing but did not have this transformer number. this chassis is an rca 630 clone.

Neither my Thordarson or Stancor books list the TV125; oddly, my Sams index doesn't list ANY Fada sets!?

does anyone have a stancor transformer book that says what the wires are and the colors. i have a stancor p-8152 the 60-62 catalog dont have it.
the problem is that there are 2 5volt connections 1 is & 2 amp and the other 4 amp and dont know which is what it didnt come with a paper to show the color coded wire connections. 1 is for 2 5u4 rec tubes and the other is 1 5v4 in the horiz section.

UPATE, with my vision being crap the colors are right just in a little different order, like red and green is green and red so i should be ok. ill go by this and check voltages first.

ok, the new transformer is in and the voltages at the damper are to be around 350v but with the hot cap wire on its getting pulled down to around 299v with no hv at all so this should be a clear indication of a shorted flyback. if anyone thinks it may be anything else other then the fly please, im open to any suggestions. im working on getting a flyback now and i hope this closes this chapter on this set.
