Fun on a Saturday Afternoon

Just spent the afternoon tweaking my CTC10. Soldered some connections on the audio board to clear up a hum and fade problem. Did a full convergence on it too, Not bad if I do say so myself.

Nothing better that classic material on a quality TV. Good Job.

BTW- Did color look different on a 21CYP22 versus a 21FBP22 ??

An old tech I worked with (somehow the oldest guys in the shop did the road calls) used to say "Just the facts Ma'am"

Jack Webb owned the "Dragnet" series, & was notoriously cheap-He & Harry Morgan wore the same clothes for virtually EVERY show for the 4 year run, saving on costume costs, and furthermore, footage from any show could be used on virtually any other show, w/no loss of continuity. A number of the "Guest Stars" on "Dragnet" were Webb's friends, drinking buddies, & cohorts-He even got ex-wife Julie London to star in "Emergency !", along w/her 2nd husband, Bobby Troup.

Nope. Its sorta a blessing/curse to remember stuff like this...On the one hand, some people look at you as some sort of a God, able to remember stuff...Most of the time, though, I think you're looked on as pretentious, or at worst, a Crashing Bore...Another downside, for me, anyway, is that I'm NEVER able to completely "Turn it Off"...And while I think stuff like this is kinda neat, there's absolutely NO way to make any money offa it, unfortunately.

Old Tv is my game, Tv trivia is too. Just can't shake the old shows. Even better on an old tv far as I'm concerned.
