Not like you were warned about this possibility or anything....

Hopefully nothing irreplaceable got destroyed...this time.

That's the risk you take when using vintage electronics on all the original caps. If a piece of equipment is going to see regular use, the elecrolytics and filter caps must be replaced for it to work safely and reliably.

I would re-word that to read "must be replaced."

I've had about all of this nonsense I want. You CHILDREN need to play well with others, or Be Gone. This place IS for fun & education, not a bitch-box. Have I made myself clear ? Good.

Once again, we don't need to know the personal business.

I have never talked to Tim other than to respond to a PM he sent me telling me what a good kid you are.

Jonny, think about what you are doing before you do it. You may regret it. It sounds like you guys have been having a good time. Don't blow it up over this. If you made a deal, complete it.

Come on guys... let's just drop it. At this point, it does not matter who was right or who was wrong. Just walk away from it.

Let's get back to what this was about... a Halolight in heat!

Hopefully, this will be a lesson to anyone curious about our hobby... this is why we strongly recommend NOT trying to operate an old set that still has the original capacitors in it.

Johnny was lucky that this didn't turn out a lot worse. I'd hate to find out that his house went up in flames as well.

واحد منكم شاذ. يجب عليك قتال بعضهم البعض وعدم استخدام كلمات مثل الاطفال.
