Question Colorado Members with a CRT Tester?

Hey guys....I just picked up my long awaited Predicta, and I'd like to run the CRT on a tester to see where I stand. Anyone in the Denver area that could help?

Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark ,

I'm not sure if your aware of it , but the heater on that CRT may run on two instead of six volts , and should be checked into before hooking up a CRT tester to it . If you know this already , great , and if not , Maybe we just saved you the heartbreak of burning out a 2 volt heater with 6 volts ......

Yeah, thanks...I already did a resistance check of the filament, and it's about 1.7 ohms, so I should have a good filament, and it looks to be the original 2.6v filament CRT
