Firestone 13G3 mask

So I'm looking to purchase the Firestone set that Justin recently acquired. He sent me some pictures and I'm wondering if any of you have seen a mask like the one it has. Every picture I have seen of the Firestone 13G3 and the similar Tele-Tone TV149 has a more squared off mask. Just curious. Any thoughts?

I've never seen that set with that mask from the factory. I've seen enlarged masks a few times, especially with the early 7" sets. Likely this was done by owners when the larger screen sets came out to make their screens appear a little bigger. On the Net I saw the restoration of an RCA 621TS. It had a rounded mask and the owner cleverly filled in the rounded-out area, refinished it, and it made it look like new.

It looks like it may have been modified. Here is how mine looks. I may have an extra one. It look to be the same as the Tele-Tone 149.
