Saved a Mag. T-995 set...

It looks pretty good, other than a couple of "dings" the "helper" guy put in the bottom, while helping to put it in my van.

This chassis is NOT my favorite SS magnavox chassis--that honor would go to the T-979. BUT---I just could not "leave it there to die". Besides--I paid LESS than a DOLLAR for it !!

The chassis also looks pretty clean--some dust but ok otherwise--and pretty much original and unnmolested. The tube is GOOD_-as can be told by the snow on the pix (that "black bar" is NOT in the real pix, something to do with the camera--likely a scan rate problem).

So--no matter what--I now have a good 25VCXP22..and a good T-995 chassis too.

Think about it...there is a VERY good chance---this old set showed the Reagan assassination attempt, the first shuttle disaster...the gas crisis, and so on....during it's "tenure"...along with a LOT of SNL episodes, perhaps !!
