RCA Cogged Belt source?

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a cogged belt to replace this one? It's the belt that drives the channel indicator on a 21" RCA console.

Some time back someone gave me the name of a place that had a fine tuning gear for an old RCA portable but I can't recall the name of the place (not Moyers, though maybe they would have one?).

You may find something that will work in a scrap photocopier, fax or printer. Older machines (that do more mechanically rather than in software) or large commercial units with fancy paper handling functions will have a better selection than recent consumer model inkjets or all-in-ones.

If there's a scrap yard around that will let you have a wander around (admittedly fewer and fewer do this anymore) the plastic side panels usually pop off fairly easily with some heavy handed persuasion (as long as you don't have to put them back on). Another option is the grave yard at a printer/copier service place (though they seem to have died out as well).

I used to know a couple of guys into robotics who were stripping every photocopier/printer/fax they could get their hands on as a source of motors and various mechanical parts for their projects. If there is a similar group or maker space in your area they may have stuff like this on the shelf.

Going back far enough there you could find stuff like this in various surplus type stores (usually as spare parts for something, though there used to be a couple of places that stripped stuff down), but all the ones I know of are long gone.

The McMaster Carr selection might have something that will work, I'll have to do some measuring and see what I came up with.

It's not really essential the channel indicator work since it's relegated to channel 3, but it's nice to have everything functional if possible.

I ordered a belt for a 21" RCA over a year ago from some robotics supplier online (helpful, yes?) Order by belt diameter and tooth pitch.
