Matching transformer to UHF or VHF?

I'm trying to hook up old TV's to RF modulators. Are you supposed to connect the matching transformer to the UHF or VHF screws? Or does it not matter?

Also is there a specific brand/type of matching transformer you recommend? They range in price and I wasn't sure if all are pretty much built equal.

Thanks!

Depends on the channel the RF modulator outputs onto. Usually on channel 3 or 4, so use the VHF terminals. VHF is channels 2 - 13, UHF is 14 to, what is it now, channel 51...
