Got this set the other day at an estate sale. Has the Space Command 400 remote. The CRT was replaced in November 1972 according to the warranty card I found in the set. Set has sound and a bright raster, but, the remote chassis is doing nothing. A couple people told me to check the remote chassis tubes and a few were near dead, hopefully replacing them and replacing the caps will do the trick. Does anyone have the sams For this set? Its 343-18.

See if the primary of the remote power transformer has continuity; there also may be a fuse in series with it, which may be open.
