Polish copy "Predicta"
In the January 1965 magazine "Young Technician" I found an article about new products from Warszawskie Zakłady Telewizyjne. There are photos of the Azuryt and Cyrkon tv sets prototypes. Design is an evident copy of Predicta. What was the electrical system, unfortunately I do not know.
As far as I know, these models (and the portable Karat) have not been put into production. Prototypes probably have not survived, so we cannot know how many Polish designers copied from the original Predicta... Maybe someone will be interested in this historical curiosity. |

Hopefully they didn’t copy too closely, the predictas were notoriously unreliable

It seems that they only followed design. This is not an exact copy. The camera in the article was of Polish construction.
