Nice RCA 721-TS on Craigslist LA area $75

I just saw this one... Nice shape and WAY low price! Might be gone, but might not! I'm not going after it... I would, but I'm about to move and have no space & time

I am off to go see this set. Oh, and there's also a nice Hoffman nearby on e-bay, ends in 1 hour: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2777&rd=1&rd=1

Ya, I did, I couldn't let it go for that price, hope it's a 10"

Adam, hope you get that 721! Looks like a great deal.

Some pics. It's missing the back, but at least it has the HV cage top, I don't know what people used to do with those, but they seem to be missing on most late 40s sets I find. The cabinet isn't bad, but it isn't that great, a few places where the veneer broke off on the bottom edge. It's not peeling off as a whole, so I don't want to remove and replace it, anybody ever tried to repair something like this? You can see what I'm talking about in the pics.

That's a nice set. I think it's a 10", it looks alot like the 10" Hoffman I got.

I dropped the top on the Buick and took the scenic route back from picking this up, going up HWY 1 to Sepulveda, rather than on the 405. Shortly after I got on HWY 1, I saw an cool old TV shop with a big Sylvania sign on top. I pulled over to take a look, but it had closed down, nothing left inside. I walked around back, to see if they had left any sets, but there weren't any.
I would have gotten a pic of the sign but I didn't have a camera.
