I am just finishing the restoration of a RCA portable very similar to this. It is from 1965. One thing about these early-middle 1960s RCA sets is that they use the Nuvistor RF amplifier (6CW4 in this case). This seems to work better on cable(less interference from other channels) than other sets with the typical glass tube.

I agree with Carmine about the quality of the shows.
