Nice set, and I've never had one of the open-face consoles like this one. It's the cheapie cabinet; chassis 242. 1951 model (early). The same chassis came in more deluxe cabinets with a 17" rectangular tube, and according to the brochure, a 24" round. Seller is also WAY WAY off on his facts. Kaye-Halbert never had a plant in Chicago. And to my knowledge, no distributor relations there either. That set was made at their second factory at 3555 Hayden Ave. in Culver City, CA.

If I were closer, I'd go for this one!!!!
