Good point! That table was not part of the radio Im sure, and like an optional FM tuner in my 47 Magnavox Berkeley, FM1000 is another wacky discriminator circuit and even more odd RF section. Still its fun to see if its better. My 1960 Philco Phonogram VI TOTL console has an AM/FM tuner that blows away most anything else I have just using rabbit ears.

The Maggy is no ball of fire on reception and drifts for lack of temp-compensated caps in oscillator.
Early FM antenna connection/built-in loops were quite janky as well.

Im betting FM patents were being scrutinized as manufacturers had to do their own thing adding FM.
