A near-mint TO 600 leather

I was beginning to think there wasn't such thing. Here's one I a purchased from E-pay a couple of weeks ago. New dial strings and solid state rectifier update and the radio is good to go. Beats my Tecsun RP2100 in every aspect - sound, of course, but sensitivity and selectivity too. Those stretched bands make tuning and sorting out close stations a breeze.

If you ask me those shots look like well-preserved photos taken in the late '50s. But I'll take your word for this radio actually existing in this state--incredible as it may seem.

This is how a Trans-O is supposed to look like these days...



As for performance you can bet your life it will KO just about anything made today. In order to do better you'd likely have to go to a communications receiver such as an NC-303 or such....
